Jodie’s Creativity

Why Is Beautiful Music Important?

While fighting cancer,

I found the importance of peaceful places, reflection,

beautiful images, sounds and most importantly music.

Listed below are some of my favourites:

Celtic Woman

Secret Garden

One of my favourite creative outlet's is creating beautiful pieces of writing and art of various forms,

Here are a few of my poems:

This Peaceful Place

Leaves dance, dance,

Rhythmically moving,

Beaconing flight freedom,

To chase the sky.

Waves peak, water curves,

Moving, rushing to meet the tide,

Blue and Silver, colours flash,

As golden tips survive and die.

A boat nearby, curses it's moar,

Gurgle, gurgle, let me loose,

Untie this wretched knot,

And let me glide, glide to the sky.

Little bee, rests on wood,

Cleaning and resting little wings,

Freedom to fly, pink yellow flowers,

To home with Pollen.

Birds flick and flutter,

They play unknown games,

They skim the peaking waves,

Toss a fish and sail home.

My spirit, my dream survives here,

I rest close inside,

I soar and trace these waters,
Today my heart stays here.

True To You

True to you,

My heart wants to be true to you,

True to you,

So sold out to you.

So consecrated to you,

Your loving heart,

Reaches me from the start,

Let me be true to you

And I will be free.

True to you,

Your spirit helps me,

Be true to you,

Poured out and all brand new.

It's hard to see,

What I'm meant to be,

When it all comes about,

I want to be true to you.

Rhythms of life

Raindrops run a destined path,

To land in their place,

Each drop is meant,

Each one has pace.

Rivers run--a planned trail,

To feed and provide,

And in the foilage,

God's creatures, hide.

Our air and earth,

The wind blows clean,

As tides ebb and flow,

Waves wash, moon beams.

How much more,

Should we question,

God's true love for us,

Everyday, pre-destined.

Just as an insect,

Clings in the wind, so fierce,

We could hold on,

Wings ripped and pierced.

It's His true blessing,

To touch His land,

For us to fly, let go,

Trust his hand.
