Along with Craig Seitam from www.competitionsguide.com.au. Jodie enjoyed her first national LIVE TV interview with Monique Wright and Basil Zempilas from Channel 7's 'Weekend Sunrise' programme. The subject was 'winning competitions' and Jodie's ability to win some awesome stuff, over the years. The interview was also featured as a news item on the 7News website.

Jodie and her family travelled to California to visit close family and friends, whilst there - she was able to speak to a local fellowship group in Buellton, California about her journey of optimism, plus connected with many family/friends about her journey, encouraging and chatting to as many people, as possible. Jodie was also able to send and give copies of her book to local media contacts, whilst in California.

As part of her desire to continue giving back, Jodie was endorsed by the CEO of the Australian Patients Association to become part of a consultancy group at the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine, West Melbourne. Jodie has now commenced as a consumer consultant, as part of the 'Quality & Patient Safety Reference Group' - working with a national team to identify and create a new framework for all Australian emergency departments. Jodie attended her first face-to-face consultation in Melbourne in June.

Jodie spoke and told of her hope journey to an enthusiastic group of listeners at the TADQ (Technical Aid To The Disabled, Qld Inc), in Brisbane. The involvement was part of celebrations of volunteers week 2013. Jodie was able to connect with many individuals at the event, seeking their own medical answers.

March 12th - Jodie was invited to attend an International Women's Day Lunch to honour the many inspiring women in Jodie's local area, where her and her family are based. Trevor Ruthernburg MP hosted the lunch and many networks were made.
