Our family (The Guerrero’s) have many illnesses & disabilities - due to cancer (originally caused by 2 x viruses) & latent genetics, skipping a generation.
Four of us - Greg, Jodie, Julia and Anna have OVER 70+ illnesses & disabilities that we must manage and fight daily. Possibly the largest gathering of ailments in any one family. How many more families do you know with this many physical burdens? We know of no others. So, we need YOUR help.
We moved from Brisbane to Toowoomba, Queensland to start the process of building a dedicated specialist medical house, which is a huge undertaking.
Yet, with a dedicated & kind community behind us, it can be done.
As a family, we help community individuals, advocate, educate, encourage & inspire particularly those with various cancers and challenging diseases - this is our little mission field - and we grow, becoming stronger, as a result.

Currently, Jodie is immunosuppressed, due to her donor’s T- cell’s & transplant, which means keeping away from most people and wearing constant masks. The rest of the family must also wear masks and all of us must constantly practice hand health, at home and in the community.
Julia has Crohn’s Disease and may also require immunosuppression via medication, (just like Jodie) - to stop disease progression. Because our ailments have increased, we are hoping no more surprises are coming.
So, we need a home like the below picture with an isolation unit to either keep an infected person/family member away from the rest of the family or keep the immunosuppressed person safe from the infected family.

Jodie is a triple cancer survivor - a multiple medical trauma survivor - and has dodged death six times:
Proven Medical Negligence/Delayed Diagnosis - 11 months.
Stage 4 - Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Blood Cancer, B-Cell, Follicular (NHL).
Stage 2 - (Recurrent) Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Blood Cancer, B-Cell, Follicular (NHL).
Stage 2 - Myelodysplasia Blood Cancer (MDS) (RCMD) or Pre-Leukaemia.
Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant.
Graft vs. Host (GVHD) Rejection Disease (mouth, throat, skin, eyes & more) - from 2014 to present.
Jodie is also described as:

MEET JODIE L. GUERRERO
AN INCREDIBLE MIRACLE
Jodie's amazing anonymous bone marrow donor was a 30 year-old USA male in 2014. His bone marrow was harvested in the United States and urgently flown in an icebox to Australia with a scientist in tow. Jodie's donor was about to 'rescue' Jodie from yet another blood cancer, after seven days of strong chemo, wiping out all of Jodie's diseased old marrow - the marrow she was born with.
Because Jodie's donor didn't have enough stem cells/bone marrow from his first marrow harvesting, his hospital in the USA had to try again.
Eight hours later - the harvested bone marrow was rushed onto an Australian-bound plane with only approx. eighteen hours before it's 'use-by' date expired. It takes fourteen hours alone, for a 747 to fly from the USA (California) to Australia (Queensland).
As a result, and after her hospital had checked Jodie's new bone marrow, only two hours remained before the new marrow had to be thrown and the whole process started over - which could have been not only costly, but deadly. But Jodie was transplanted, just in time. Due to Jodie's transplant with a (matched) unrelated donor - her blood type changed from O+ Positive to A+ Positive (the blood type of her donor). She now carries both the DNA of her donor and that of her parents. Jodie does deal with five versions of rejection disease (GVHD), however - she is alive - and here to love her family and to share her story of optimism and hope.

AN INSPIRATIONAL STORY ABOUT
BEING A 'VICTOR' & NOT A 'VICTIM'
Imagine yourself in this scenario: one day you wake with a mystery shoulder pain, no-one seems to listen and 11 months on - your complaints are worse now spreading all through your right side, you feel as if you have been slipping away every day, getting closer and closer to a complete physical breakdown.
What do you do when your body is failing, doctors won't listen & you've asked for assistance many times, but no help? You don't know who else to talk to and people around you are starting to ask if maybe you're making it all up. Other therapies are not helping and as time goes on your right leg starts to show sciatic symptoms, your right lower back & sacrum in constant pain - but, without a diagnosis, life must go on - especially with 2 special children, a full-time job and a home to look after. After almost 1 year of searching and asking many doctors, in desperation - you go to the ER, completely & utterly exhausted - no longer able to get any pain relief or sleep.
This is what happened to me. What was found in my back shocked us all and changed my life. For years - I was internally crashing, 11 months of active searching for an answer, until an ER department saved my life. I am a walking miracle.
